Electricity Invoice
This section provides a clear breakdown of how your electricity invoice is calculated and what each component means for you. Our goal is to make your invoice simple to read, easy to understand, and fully transparent.
Invoicing Principles
Electricity invoices are calculated and issued taking into account:
- Your actual or estimated electricity consumption during the invoicing period;
- The applicable electricity price agreed in your supply contract;
- Regulated tariffs (for distribution, transmission, and system services);
- Taxes and contributions established by legal provisions in force;
- Other applicable charges in accordance with your contract or legal provisions.
Invoice Structure
Your electricity invoice typically includes the following elements:
- Client and contract details - identification data of the customer and the place of consumption and reference of the supply contract;
- General invoice data - invoice number and date of issue, payment term, and other general information;
- Consumption data - metered or estimated consumption for the billing period;
- Electricity price - the unit price of electricity, as specified in the contract;
- Grid tariffs - tariffs for distribution, transmission, and system services;
- Taxes and contributions - VAT, excise duty, cogeneration contribution, CfD contribution, green certificates;
- Total payment - the final invoiced price and the total amount to be paid.
Billed Consumption
Invoices are usually based on metered consumption. However, in some cases, estimated consumption (based on the data in the consumption agreement concluded with you) may be used if meter readings are unavailable. Submitting your meter index on time ensures billing reflects your actual usage.
Payment Methods
Invoices can be paid by bank transfer, card online, or other available payment methods mentioned on the invoice.
